Re: dats 240Z vs. 260 vs. 280

i don't know much about older z's, but i know that the 240 came with a 2.4L i-6, 260 with a 2.6L i-6, and 280 with a 2.8L i-6, 300 with 3.0L i-6 (z31) or v-6 (z32), and 350z with 3.5L v-6. names help a lot, reminds me of ferrari. but anyway, this should be moved to past z car forum and you would probably get more response form there.

Re: dats 240Z vs. 260 vs. 280

I think based purely on looks and heritage...I'd go for a 240z...

Datsun 240Z

Datsun 260Z (slightly longer)

Datsun 280ZX (had a turbo version and non turbo)

Course...as they got larger...as all the models did...they increased in weight...so they curb weight climbed all the way up to the Z32...then they kind of decreased it a lil w/the Z33

Re: dats 240Z vs. 260 vs. 280

i know, my baby is a little, okay, quite a bit over weight. but thanks to nissanspdr, pics always make a thread better. based on looks, i like the 260z the best, but any of them would be nice.
