These would be so fun to drive. Lighter, better handling, and better braking than the regular 355.

F355 versus 360 Modena
I am unsure as to why everyone gushes over the 360 Modena and says it is so superior to the F355. First off, the look of the 355 is a little too "new edgy." It is a good-looking car, especially in pewter, convertible trim, but it loses the classic Ferrari look that I think the F355 is so successful in capturing. And it has a design flaw that would drive me to get the F355 over the 360, given the opportunity. This is that the shift paddles on the 360 do not rotate in conjunction with the steering wheel. This would make it much more challenging to shift when not going in a straight (or at least nearly straight) line. The F355 paddles stay right with the drivers hands, whether on a straight-away, or heading around a curve. I guesss one can't argue that they both are everything a Ferrari is supposed to be: fast, loud, sleeker than a fighter jet, and ever so exclusive. |

First off, I think this would best be placed as a new topic.
In your second paragraph, JD, did you mean to say 360 instead of 355? I think many would take the 360 for it's performance benefits. It's an incredible machine, even when compared to the 355. More power, less weight, and even better aerodynamics. One thing the 360 doesn't complete in classic ferrari form is the front grill. Or, absence there-of. ---------- "Ferrari isn't a car, it's a lifestyle" -Enzo Ferrari. |

No, I meant what I said in the second paragraph. Did I got my information backwards? If so, sorry about the goof.
I know the 360 is the formidable machine, but I think the 355 captures my imagination better. I would still take it over the Modena |

Well, in the second paragraph you say that the 355 is a little too "new edgy" and you prefer the 355. So, I took this as you meant to say that the 360 was too "new-edgy". But, if you really do prefer the 355 to the 355, then I suppose I was in err.

JD who cares about paddles, are you an F1 driver or somethin? I'd much rather have the stick shift, the stick is so much more pure sportscar, just punchin in those gears

Is the 360 available with a normal stickshift? I'd definitely want that instead of the paddles.
Out of these two I'd pick the 360. The shape is not as nice as the F355 but nevertheless I find it very beautiful, and as a car it performs much better. |

Ok guys I'm hear to settle the debate. Hands down the F355 is better. It looks way better from all angles. The 360 looks like something Honda or Toyota would produce. The 355 has Ferrari styling all over it. Not to mention the difference in sound these cars make. The F355 sounds like an F1 car while the Modena sounds like a mod'd Civic SI.

The 360 doesn't have the front grille like every other freakin' road car Ferrari made/makes. Stupid aero dynamics!
