Code P0102 MAF Issue

I have a 99 Astro. I keep getting a P0102 code(Circut Low Input MAF or VAF) which triggers the SES light. I have replaced the the MAF and using a WIX Air Filter. I have cleaned all connections, insured that there are no air leaks etc. The code only registers from a dead stop with no noticable performance loss. After I replaced the MAF, the code did not register for a few days. Incidently I have on occasions registered a P0103 code (Circut High Input MAF or VAF). Any ideas?
