dash board
i have a 1999 mercury mountaineer.
half of may dash board lights up the other don't, I have replaced the bulbs but still they won't turn on. any solutions.

I would suspect there's an issue with the flex circuit for the half that doesn't light up. Are you able to pull the cluster again and check the contacts for the bulb for voltage with the parking lights on?
You're not trying to install LEDs are you? Most LEDs that are sold for this type of application are polarized and will only work when installed one specific direction. If you're unsure if they are LEDs, try rotating them 180 degrees and see if they work. -Rod |
