Just got the car back from this years mot...we have a charity event coming up in early may in it then now less than 2 months until Le Mans! :-)

Unfortunately its a private event i did ask if i was allowed to publicise it but i'm not. 16r will be at Le Mans from friday night to sunday night during the race.

We normally park in expo and have breakfast in arnages both days so it will be around. I've been travelling too much on business to really use her but this weekend.

I'm also investigating if i can get access to park at Goodwood during the FoS which Andy and I are both going to on the Friday, with or without cars is still tbd...

It's been a recurring theme in discussions here and elsewhere over the years about what the paint code is for Papaya Orange. I just received an message from someone on another forum asking the same question yesterday and am at a bit of a loss to provide them with help.

The best answer is that there hasn't been just one 'Papaya Orange' used by McLaren through the decades but I believe for the people who are seeking this information that whatever would be deemed accurate for your GTR would certainly be sufficient for everyone else.

Would be nice to see the car for real.
During the test day I looked around allready.... hopefully
But I definitly search for it during the race.
Looking forward to the race for a long time, but now I can't wait to go there.
For sure others will be there too, maybe we can arrange something in our (great)campsite on Maison Blanche (inside the circuit entrance between the Porsche Curves and start-finish chicanes), that would be awesome too.
if you want, PM me for a parking ticket overthere (I do have a possibility).

To 16R:
I've read that u will come back to Le Mans end of the week. U probably organize everything, but i'm able to offer you a VIP parking (just behind the paddock) and a full acces pass to paddock, to enjoy the race from inside the Teams Larbre Compétition & IMSA Performance.
I agree that, it would be for me a perfect occassion to see your GTR.

16R > What is your program on friday ? Do you go to British welcome at Saint-Saturnin, PistonHeads meet at "Le Bounty" or supercar parade ? Maybe you can park your car or do the parade ? A friend made it with a Ford GT Heritage. I can try if you contact me.

There will be a newly restored long tail there and maybe 13r and 16r in the car park.
