'98 hyundai accent check engine light
Hey there everyone. My husband has a 1998 Hyundai accent. It recently failed emmisions due to the check engine light not comming on when he starts it up. I have now spent roughly 3 days trying to fix the dang thing and I can't figure it out. I've replaced fuses, replaced relays, replaced the battery. I've checked the alternator, and gone through every single fuse the stupid car has. I plan on tearing off the panel shortly to see if it might be a bulb. Any ideas on what else it could be? Please let me know. I'm desperate.
Thanx, Shortstack1981 |

You pretty much point it out, if the CEL doesn't light up when turning the key to the "ON" position, the first thing you have to check is the light bulb! lollll
