Just starting new project
I need to know what kind of engine I should put in my car. I want to get an si motor out of an 84-87 crx si so I don't have to change engine mounts but if i could get away with a d16 out of 92-95 ex/si. I don't want to go DOHC cause im only keepin the car for 2 years. A vetc is what I really want in my 1800lbs car!
Got any advise of friends who have done the same thing or better yet, where I can find a website with all the engines and swap and price info. I know there out there so If ya know, please tell me. Also, any tips that you know of for my car, tell me.

I don't think it would be worth your trouble to swap to a D16Z6 as it only has (I think) 125 Hp and would require new mounts and some fabricating. You would be better off getting an 87-88 teg motor,it is bolt in and has 118 Hp.For only 7 Hp in the difference you could save yourself a lot of money. You could go with a first gen ZC,that will also bolt in and has 130 Hp.It would also likley be cheaper.
