Re: Ford Escort RS1800
My fellow Escort brethren helped me sort out the oil cooler location. Unusual that it is installed vertically. The oil lines will pass through the hole in the bulkhead.

Re: Ford Escort RS1800
Simply A M A Z I N G!!!!
On another note, I just bough another one to replace the parts i send you and be able to build one with rhe decals I had.... I discovered that the parts i send you are from the crystal Esci kit, probably why i was missing the body parts... |

Thanks Rene for the comment and the parts. Glad you found a kit you can build.

Re: Ford Escort RS1800
We did a low resolution printing of the Minilite wheel/tire so we could check the size. We will make the final tire 0.2 mm taller than what is shown here. Once I have the final version of the wheels and tires I will adjust the cars stance. The front end is a little too high in these pictures.

Re: Ford Escort RS1800
Exhaust system nearly complete. Still need to add the muffler.

Re: Ford Escort RS1800
Wheels look good to me. The extra 2mm on the OD should be plenty to fill the void.

Re: Ford Escort RS1800
The engine bay gets painted white while the rest of the body will be blue. In order to eliminate the difficult masking job I cut part of the cowl from the body and attached it to the chassis.

Re: Ford Escort RS1800
Added chassis pan detail to the boot floor. The stamped pattern is not 100% accurate but it's good enough for me.
