the H22 engine might not be much of a good swap because the engine needs more torque to pull the heavy van
as for the modified vans in japan. i read in my mag vans like odyssey and sienna's doing 1/4miles in mid 12's. of course most of them has twin turbos. i thought it was crazy |

h22a's would suck in a new odyseey because the heavy ass van needs torque, i heard that some kids turbo'd their moms odyssey and were doing low 14's at tha strip!
the idea with teh 3.2 tl engine is nice, because its dohc instead of the c35's sohc. but there would be no space to twin tubo the sonofbitch. waht would be reallly nice is some of the rear seats could be taken out, and make the car a midengine rwd!!! like what they did to the renault espace f1 click here to see espace f1 |

you should check out the odyssey in japan.
their crazy. they have a v6. not really sure about the name but they turbo the van so it runs 13's on the 1/4 mile. they have huge 19inch rims, lowered very low and also has a wicked bodykit

Bing, It is a J35A...I have had 2 odysseys 99 and a 2002.
Oh yeah, and 89 DX "R", Last time i checked the Odyssey and the 3.0 engine in the accord were both a J Series. It should bolt up. You could only do that with a 99-2001 engine though, heres why: Due to the fact that the ECU in the accord would have to be replaced with an Odyssey ECU you could only run a four speed auto at best. The Transmissions in the Accord would be playing tricks on the ECU due to the facts of different gear and final drive ratios...not good. Then you get into the fact of the 2002 Odyssey. A five speed auto. The Accord only features a 4speed auto. The 99-01 and 02 ECU have differences that reside in the tuning of the ECU. Another Problem. You have the 4Spd Auto and the 2002 odyssey hooked up together. The 02 Odyssey has a 5spd while the Accord V-6 has a 4spd...the ECU could not make up its mind... The best way would be to take the whole thing, longblock, transmission, ECU and all and put it into the accord. One minor thing. You will have to fabricate or convert the Transmission Gear Shift Linkage. Not too hard... |

Renault Espace F1
Dudes that thing is ridiculous...now listen to this though, I saw that car in a show room in Paris. We were wandering by and saw it and figured something was up so we went in and checked it out. I've gotta find those pics. When I do, I'll post em. Just thought I'd share...
