I haven't seen one at the track yet, but i have seen one on I-96 right by the Wixom Ford plant where it is assembled on my way to college one day. I was in my 04 V6 mustang and i just took a run next to it, and the guy driving (most likely a ford employee) had to remind me that the GT is insanly fast and vanished in front of me at God knows how fast. I'll tell you its time, VERY FAST! Motor trend has it at 11.2 secs 1/4 mile time, 131.2 mph

Re: Ford GT Timeslips...

^The Ford GT has been out for a while I think they were releast fall of last year. I have yet to see one on the road here in MO, but my brother did on his way to work he called me right after he saw it. It was red with stripes I almost drove out to try and see it would of been 5-10 mintue drive, but regrettingly didn't.

My gf and I saw one at Fun Ford in Ennis, Texas...Most stunning car i've ever seen in person (and i've seen quite a few exotics, i.e. F1,Enzo,Murcie,Countach,etc...).

Here is a pic of the one we saw (gf took the pic).

Re: Ford GT Timeslips...

^Ya the ones without stripes don't look as good, but still very cool the one I saw at the auto show this year was probley the worst one I have seen it was the tanish silver color and had no stripes what so ever not even on the sides. While I would of liked to see a white with blue stripes I still took 4 or 5 pictures I'll put them up when I get the film diveloped in a couple of weeks.

Re: Re: Ford GT Timeslips...

I saw one at the yearly auto show here in utah. it was grey with white stripes. They had it firmly roped off, the ford rep would claim a 0-60 in 3.3, so that's how fast to 60 i guess if you ask ford.

That's how fast it is according to road tests conducted by Car and Driver.
