should i get JDM

i know the jdm motors are set up for a higher octane fuel. i live australia and apparently we have third world fuel down here. can i still get the JDM engine or should i just get a local one.

if you have a lower octane rating down under you should find some octane boost at an auto shop or something. thats weird because i have always heard that hondas/nissans in australia were almost identical to jdm. strange that they dont supply right gas for them
