Question Need More Power Please HELP???

Im from Australia and id like 2 know how the rest of the world can help me with my problem.i own a 1997 Civic VTI D16Y SOHC VTEC and i keep on having trouble with many cars. the only moidification i have is a SIMOTA air filter and that is it. i need to go quiker it sounds nice but i need power please help.
