Re: What age are you guys mostly, and what kind of work do you do?
Now that this thread is old as hell, and no one cares....LOL
I'm 27, Electronics Technician in the Marines. I've got a new 2005 1500 CCSB 4WD. I listen to AC/DC, Metallica (old), Guns N Roses, Motley Crue, Led Zep, Pink Floyd.....basically any good rock music. Some country when I'm in the mood. I keep an el-cheapo Stanley yellow plastic toolbox bungeed down in the back with the various fluids, sockets, wrenches, flashlight, towstrap, jumper cables, screwdrivers........the normal redneck variety. Kinda cool to see who and what everyone is/does... |

I am 35 and a Fleet Maint. Mechanic with a City here in Oklahoma. I am ASE Master Certified for Automotive and Medium/Heavy trucks. also Master Certified Emergency Vehicle Tech for Law Enforcement Vehicles. I have worked for the city for almost 4 years and have been a mechanic for 17. I bought my truck about 3 weeks ago and love it so far. I work on mostly Fords and Dodges all week so its nice to have something I don't have to work on come the weeknd. I listen to mostly country and classic rock but have my metal moments.

Re: What age are you guys mostly, and what kind of work do you do?
Geez...go out of town for a few days and this happens..sweet!! Well, I tie for the Old Pharts division (anyone over 50 is an Old Phart..IE eligtable member for AARP). I'll tie at 52 (as of last Saturday).
I'm the senior orthopedic technologist with an AS degree at the only level one trauma center in the Northern Calif. Central Valley. I cover In-pt ares as well as the Emergency Room (as well as being a retired Air Force medic, E-7, 12.5 yrs active duty as well as 12.5 yrs reserve)...but I plan to return back to school next spring an get my RN (never too old to go to school). I also do Foster Care, neighborhood watch and CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) with the Sacramento Metro Fire Dept. I have an '02 and use it to pull a 20' travel trailer (just got back from 6 days in So. lake Tahoe). I like most any music except opera, alternative, hip-hop and RAP (part of that Old Phart thingy).
