1988 Crown Vic EFI Computer

The EFI computer in my 1988 Crown Vic has gone bad. Can anyone tell me where it is located? I need help! Please e-mail me at bmason2@yahoo.com.

Thanks,
Bob Mason

Please give more info, is the engine a 5.0 efi or 5.8 carb. If it is the former the computer is located under the dash left of the brake pedal. You must remove the bolt that holds the wiring harness to it from the engine compartment. Look above the wheel well, behind the hood hinge. Once you have the bolt loose you can remove the plastic clip under the dash, bend the sheet metal bracket and it should fall out. I have changed many from engine swaps and have only had one go bad in over 10 years. What makes you think it's the computer, there is usually a dozen reasons other, than the computer bad, for the engine to not start.
