Maxima 97/SE CD/Tape Player problem
Hi,
Even though my audio system works (FM/AM), my CD and tape players have stopped working. I have checked the fuse related to the audio systems and they're OK. Is there something that I should be checking? This problem is in my Maxima SE 97. Thanks in advance.. |

The Problem I'm Having Is When I Enter The Disc The System Reads Cd Error And Kicks It Back Out? The System Does Not Appear To Scan The Disc Upon Entry.

A lot of people have complained about the stock Bose radio having all sorts of little glitches especially the error message for CD's.
It's probably time to start looking on eBay for a new one. Try and get a 99 Maxima radio, it looks nicer and will have the least use. |

A fix that I have read about, that a few people have claimed to have work is:
take out the cd bose unit, and take out the CD player portion. Solder all the resistors down, and put unit back together, the CD player should work and not display the CD Errr, people have posted on another forums i read on, that this has worked for them, i will be trying this later this afternoon. will post back with results and details on how I did it. |
