Finally some progress to report

Hi all,

Glad to see that you're all still interested in my supra. I've been busy the past few weeks and to be honest i dont want to rush the supra. im taking my time between coats of primer. im sanding after every coat. Here are some updated pics. the body is still undergoing priming since it needed extra attention due to the detail. i painted the rest of the parts orange simply because i was anxious to see what the color would look like. It's a bit more orange than i would like but i'm probably going to keep it. As always, your comments and critiques are very welcome.

Absolutely Amazing

God damnit....your Supra is so tight....I love it!

Are you going to match the interior colors and style as well? Right or left hand drive??

i already have a set of Sparco seats from studio 27 to put in the supra once im at that stage. Im going to try to make it as accurate as i possibly can. I have tons of pictures from the internet to use as a reference. unfortuneately, i only have a handful of interior shots. evenso, i think (in a nutshell) the interior will need a roll cage, sparco seats, a huge tac in the center, a couple pods on the a-pillar, a sparco racing harness, and a sparco steering wheel. the only thing im not sure how to do yet is the steering wheel. i dont really want to make it from scratch since it will probably look like crap so we may have to settle for the stock steering wheel. Oh and the steering wheel will be on the left hand side like the original.

im really not sure how much it is extended. i'd gauge at least 2.0 mm. there isnt much of the original front end left under all that putty. i cut most of it out and used part of the bottom lip as the backbone. some areas are extended more than others too. the front of the car is more squarish when looking from the top meaning that the areas beneath the headlights are extended forward a bit more. hope that's somewhat helpful. its hard for me to explain since its gone through so many layers of putty that i just cant remember what it looked like before i started
