I have been meaning to post pics of all my models, but haven't gotten the time to borrow a digital camera and actually take the pics.

The spider is coming along slowly, and am not sure what color I want to paint it, but leading contenders include:

1) Pozzi blue (a really dark non-metallic blue) with blue interior and red brake calipers (see picture)

2) Dark blue metallic with natural leather

3) Red with tan

NO RED! Either one of the blues will look great.

That list sounded great to me until I choked on the red too!

Both of those blues are great colors, I've seen them outdoors, even seen both a Modena and 550 Maranello in Pozzi (non metallic) blue.

Well, I am pretty sure I wouldn't paint it red with tan. It will probably be pozzi blue, of course, that color is like painting black. its going to show everything, so i'll have to be extra careful. I wont be near a digital camera for a few weeks, but hopefully by then I will be able to post some pics of my progress and my other models.

Smile Won't be long now, yeah right!

A mini update on the Spider. It's finally TS 16 Yellow and will get TS 13 Clear coat tonite. Wheels have been detailed also.

I went back and corrected the fat buttresses

Hehe, I painted cavallino's on the floor mats!

A Ferrari that's not red...

It looks amazing. Those horses in the interior look great. I love the yellow. Can't wait to see this thing 100% done.

I made a stamp using the plastic cavallino's(horses) supplied in the kit as an emblem. I glued a scrap drive shaft to the back of it, painted the flat side with yellow paint and stamped the image on the floor mat while the yellow paint was wet. See new thread for finished car.

The real 355 Spider of course was made by chopping the top off a Berlinetta, they cut it just above the rear flank surface therefor leaving the very lower part of the B pillars or buttresses. In my white primer pictures you can see I had the buttresses too wide and flat, so I thinned them and reshaped some. See finished car thread for better pics of them.
