Question Replacing 6 series window

My 1985 635 csi recently got broken into. The culprits smashed the driver side window completely. I have found a replacement window from a 1987 635 csi. I have two questions:

1. Will the replacement window fit? I am assuming it will because I don't think BMW changed the body dimensions.

2. How do I install the window? Do I need special BMW made tools to do this?

Any response is appreciated.
