95 Tracker Check Engine Lite

95 Tracker Check Engine Light came on at 170k mi. Anyone know if this is just for a service/check up reminder? If so, what exactly is supposed to get checked at 170k miles?

Also I know where the switch is to reset it - I just can't remember the exact procedure to perform this reset? Or to blink the code for that matter.

Thanks,
Gumby_CT

Re: 95 Tracker Check Engine Lite

to reset service reminder lite. remove driverside speaker to left of steering wheel. inside dash behind the speaker is a small toggle switch. flip it. the lite comes on every 50000 miles.
