2007 Mailbu Drivers Side front end clicking

When in a full left turn the drivers side front end makes a clicking noise. After removing the tire and checking the lower ball joint and tire rod end, everything seems fairly tight. My next guess would put me towards the CV shaft. Never had to deal with one in the past and am unsure how to decide if compromised. The car was involved in an accident recently where a fire extinguisher fell off the back of a truck and went bouncing underneath, I don't feel this has anything to do with it because it cracked the tranny pan and oil pan, seemed that it would be too far away to do damage to CV shaft and crack the pans. please let me know what you would check and wether i am on the right path or not. any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
