Question '91 PA Tranny Mount

Is it common for the tranny mounts to be worn out - or is this premature (possibly due to rough ride vibrations)?? The suspension, shocks and springs are in great shape, and always have been...Looking for an indication that this a common problem....

What are you experiencing? Mounts can go bad, if you hear clunking when you shift from park it could very well be a mount. have someone shift the car for you and look at the motor when you do this, if it moves conciderably then your mounts are bad.. There should be some movement but not to the point where the motor tried to come out of the car. But a better desciption of what your experience would help.

Thanks for the indications....It was in fact a bad tranny mount, simply because of the "clunking" while shifting in and out of park...Have replaced the mount and all is good in the world again...

Cheers
