Wiring Up Tach?
Just Got My Son A 73 Nova We Are Working On It Has A Tach, But It Is Not Wired Up Its A Super Gage Red,white ,green Wires Does Anyone Know Where To Wire These Up To ? Thanks

Green should be ground. Red should be for the lamp, and white for power to the needle. To make sure just ground it first, and then put 12 volts to the red. If the lamp lights up then it gets connected with the dash lamps. The white will then go to the negative side of the coil. Let us know how it goes.

sorry its an auto gage found another wire black ,green, red, white I'm sure that changes everything. did not see the black wire in there .Thanks again!

Ok that sounds better. Now I'd say black to ground. Red to ignition. (hot only when ignition is on, check with meter or light) Green to negative side of the coil. White to dash lamps. You may want to try contacting the manufacture, but these things are somewhat standard. Always connect ground first.

Thanks that done it!!!!!!!! We just finished wiring it up it all works we have to get a bulb for ti but other than that its in working order thanks to you! thanks again very much!!!!
