trouble shooting!
trouble shoot this one
we just dropped a new ls in my friends 95 teg.. we can't get the engine to run, we crank it and it's turning over... it's getting spark in all cyls, and it's getting gas because we left the downpipe off the manifold and it was blowing flames out it.. lol, i can't see how the timing woulda got fucked up because we didn't play with any of it..... and how do you check codes on a obd1 ecu, i know you gotta have a jumper wire, but how? what 2 pins to i stick it to? i'm a obd0 guy so i wouldn't know.

just buy a code reader from any auto store, and it'll tell you whats wrong.
but i dont understand your problem, you said it cranks and turns over, so whats the problem other than the flames, id check your timing anyway.
