My old resistor looks similar to that. The one I replaced it with looks different but I think they were redesigned. It seemed to solve the problem so all my blower settings work now...from low to high. The only problem now is the blower kicks on and off by itself and I'm not certain if a relay would cause this and where exactly it is.

I replaced the blower motor and everything is just swell.
