4L30E Transmission

I have a 2000 Isuzu Rodeo with the 4L30E transmission. There is a round , seal type piece on the passengers side above the overdrive valve body. I was wondering if someone could tell me what the part is called and if i can get a replacement without buying a rebuild kit.

Re: 4L30E Transmission

Do you have a picture? I'm not too familiar with the 4L60E (was 30E a typo?), but I may be able to recognize the part.

Re: 4L30E Transmission

He doesn't have the 4L60E, its the GM/Aisin automatic. Depending on which one it is, its either a THM-RMQ or the RMD Aisin. Either way, 4L30E is the best way to describe it.

Many of those seals are universal. You don't have to order the exact part, just get a seal that matches it and you'll be fine. Identify what part its sealing and go from there. Find a tranny shop, walk in with your seal, walk out with a new one for $1
