Loss of power after changing timing belt
I replaced the timing belt on my 2005 Elantra as well as the AC, power steering and alternator belts. Now the check engine light is on and it has lack of power when taking off. A few seconds later it kicks in. Can anybody help me out with this? It is an automatic transmission.

Re: Loss of power after changing timing belt
It means you put the timing belt back on wrong. Did you make sure all the sprocket were lined up correctly?

Re: Loss of power after changing timing belt
I was afraid that might be what had happened. How can I find out where the factory timing marks are so that I can start over? Thanks.
