Question OBD-II CODE P0102 MAF Circuit Low Voltage Input

96 S10 Blazer 4x4 borrowed a code scanner from a friend and got the code from the ECM. All I can find is the definition of the error code. I have the chilton's for the truck but it does not explain why the code would occur. Any ideas? a remanufactured MAF for this truck is over $200.

not that i would ever condone such a thing..... but ever thought about test driving another 96 Blazer and swapping long enough to see if it corrects it? seeing as parts houses wont take electrical parts back.
