That's actually a quite interesting point. I looked back on some of the first threads I did and it's amazing how much AF can teach you..

Back when all I had was a 35mm camera and a scanner..

And now...

that's my first car model. it was a gift from my girlfriend in september of last year... the same time i found this forum however, i built it before i found this forum and thus no shine and clearcoated the windshield... if you look closely enough, you'll see that the future on the windshield makes it look like a piece of fogged glass that you would normally find on shower doors since then, i've only completed two additional models and have roughly twenty or so unbuilt! this hobby is so addicting... not to mention expensive!

Dam you applesed!

You were born good.

You could still fix the windows. Just keep polishing though the clear.

my first model was either a 1:32 83 Monogram Mustang or Monogram Texaco NASCAR. The NASCAR got stepped on and the mustang (tried to make stripes free handed minus masking tape and got paint all over the window)

My first model was built about 25 years ago and it's probably been reduced to atoms by now! It was a green VW van by Revell. I have a re-issue of it though; I just have it for sentimental reasons. Geez I'm old as hell!!!

Was that the Californian Roller Kombi?(I think I've asked that before :confused) If it was and you got a re-issue were/how did you get the reissue? That was my dads first model we still had it about 3 years ago before we threw it out, too trashed. My dad would pay alot of money to get one of those again, where you get it?

First model was a 96 Dodge Viper for me, brush painted red with that infamous Revell truck suspension and non fitting hood, still got the mags from it in my drawer and the seats, nothing else but. I melted the engine block . No pictures though, you should be glad I don't have any too
