Parasitic Battery Drain 03 Monte Carlo
Hello,
Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated! The battery tests good, starter & alternator as well. With a multimeter I showed 3.2 drain, I disconnected the amp in the truck, because it was hot to the touch, (already insatlled when I bought the car) so I don't know that its hooked up correctly. Still showing a slight drain, and still needing a jump start every 2 days. I don't know where to go from here. I don't have money to throw away for trying expensive fixes. This is my daily driver. Thank you. |

What is a "slight drain"? Somewhere around 14mA is probably normal for that car. If it's much more that that, you'll ned to start pulling fuses one at a time untill the draw drops out. Then figure out what is on that circut that is causing the problem.
