Low cost modifications

Went to the dragstrip this past weekend, 95 V8 4.6L only ran a 16.5, geeze thats slow, any simple mods that will give me a considerable amount of pick-up?

Guys the car runs a 15.8 stock... so you are having a problem hooking would be my guess.

I want to know where they ran the car to get that number for the stock time cause I have NO problem hooking up and I am even slower than the other guys. 16.81 although it is at LACR in so cal which is pretty high in elevation (around 3500ft).

I think 15.8 is for the 96-97 V8's...
