I just like cherokees, and the liberty just bothers me...
I am over 6' and I can fit pretty well anywhere in my jeep, but aside from that, I think the Liberty could run well, and I haven't looked into it too much, but I can't stand the looks, of course I don't like mercedes either, but that's just me. So is it more powerful, if so then why do they make it look like every other car, jeep had it's own design with the cherokee, not with a liberty. Thanks for enlightening me on a few things I had missed. I probably won't ever like them, since they were not made by the original Jeep company, which is what I meant when I said the cherokee was an original. I have started to like the liberty a little just cause it is a jeep, but that design is gag to me.

And if you want to race on the street I'll use my GTO!! That's a real car. 6.5litre... 385 hp... no need for 'cherry bombs' for a 'rumble'.
I don't know I can smoke a good deal of cars down here in ATL with my jeep

To each their own... right? It's part of the old 'you can't please all of the people all of the time'. And as much as you don't like Mercedes (trust me, I'm not a huge fan myself) you have to appreciate their engineering... easily better than the traditional 'Big Three' or the Japanese... heck, better even than Audi and maybe even better than BMW.

ummm o.k. ... but a '67 GTO??? C'mon, We're not talking some lame front wheel drive 200 hp tin & plastic pretender here. We're looking at a no-shit muscle car ... 400 cid V8, Demon Carb, K&N filter, Aluminium headers, 2.5' duals with Crossover pipe giving about 385hp to a positrac rear end. We're talking over 100mph in the quarter and a top end over 150mph. Heck... I beat a BMW X5 4.4 uphill in a race!

Now I will concede the fact that you would be able to turn and stop better than my old Goat!

I appreciate the fact that your Jeep can handle itself... Often that's more a case of driver capability and confidence. I've out-accelerated and out-cornered cars that should've left me in the dust ... comes down to the driver

Of course if you've done a 'tuner job' on your Jeep then one would have to wonder if that's in keeping with being a 'real Jeep'!

Can't say I have done anything tuning wise, just a sound system. LOL.
