Del Sol Bumper Lip
What's up everybody. I have a 1995 Del Sol. I also have a front bumper lip that has yet to be installed.
I'm just not sure about this lip. I purchased it many moons ago, but when I finally committed to install it, it just didn't seem to fit the sol. There are about 4 inch tabs on either end that don't seem to go anywhere on the underside, the other holes look like they line up but the bumper won't be flush and tight. Also, what kind of fasteners should I use? Anyone else have this issue? Thanks in advance! http://www.flickr.com/photos/34636332@N08/4666410359/ |

Re: Del Sol Bumper Lip
Well those tabs attach to the factory undertray, which I'm assuming was long discarded the first time the car was every worked on, lol. As for the rest of it, is it actually a del sol lip? I know the civic lip will also fit, as the bumper had the approx same shape underneath. the lip does have some flex and can be pushed/pulled a bit, but id its too far off its just not gonna fit. Is it OEM honda?

Re: Del Sol Bumper Lip
It's not a del sol lip, it's a civic lip. I got it on the recommendation of this website.
http://www.teamdelsol.com/technical/...p/default.html Do I install it with the smooth side down? Are there other parts I need to purchase? Or am I stuck with this piece that doesn't fit? Thanks! |

Re: Del Sol Bumper Lip
Aside from clips, screws or whatever you decide to attach it with you shouldn't need anything. If you've got the right part no. then it should install with minor adjustments. Also it should go on just as you have it laid out in the first pic you posted.
