Tire advice

I don't want to spend a bunch of money on new tires but the guy before me went with Goodyear Aquatreads. BUZZZZZ BUzzzzz. thump, thump, thump, You get the picture.. I can't take it anymore. Any opinions? Quiet and smooth...

Cooper Trendsetter SE's are a good all around tire that won't cost you a fortune. I put a set on my Cavalier convertible, as well as my mom's Grand Am GT and was very happy, quiet, smooth ride, nice looking tread, and excellent wear and traction.
