Location of fuel filter on EL falcon?

I have a 6cyl ford falcon futura. Does anybody know where the fuel filter is?

The filter on your falcon origanaly a canister filter screwed to the bottom of your fuel pump. Many of the replacement pumps are the newer type that don't have the spot for the original filter. If you have this newer type you will have to put in an inline filter.

Please don't take this personally Bill but if you don't have an clue why bother answering the post.

A EL Falcon (same as most E series Falcons and AU models) has the fuel filter approximately in front of the left rear wheel, best to us a 14mm and 17mm pipe spanner as the filter nut is often very hard to remove from the fuel filter.

You will either need a hoist or stands to get under the car to access the filter safely.

There will be high fuel pressure left in the fuel filter, I recommend removing the fuel pump relay, which is found under the coolant header tank, from hazy memory it is the green one, the brown one is the EFI relay, if you pull the wrong one it won't start immediately, start the engine, run the engine until it stops from lack of fuel and now proceed to remove the filter wearing safety glasses.

Not to offend the admin etc of this site, but you are better off to find a specialised forum for your make or model, you will get a quicker and generally more accurate response, being a Aussie Ford Falcon gives you plenty of choices.
