Upgrading the wheels - Tire Pressure Monitor
So I just put 22 inch wheels on my 2005 Denali and, of course, the tire pressure monitor is alerting me of a problem. I know I can take it to the dealer and get them to re-program the tire size, but they said it would cost $120!
That seems like A LOT to program a computer... does anyone know how I can find another place/person to take care of this programming? |

Whoever installed your new tires and wheels probably forgot to remove the tire pressure sensors from your old wheels. That's why your monitor is going off. Either the sensors were installed incorrectly or they weren't reinstalled at all. I have 22's on my Denali and no problems with the sensors. I would go back to whoever did your wheel change and have them check the sensors. |
