1951 GMC Truck

I am in the process of restoring this truck. I am looking for a one bl rochester carb. I have tried LMCTruck but they do not have one in stock. Any suggestions on where to purchase one?

Thanks in advance,

Steve

One of these?

Have you tried Jim Carter? - http://www.oldchevytrucks.com/

You could also try some of the carburetor specialits, and I saw several on ebay

Blue, cool, 1bbl Rochester? Doing a similar carb ( Carter) right now 2bbl 60 Buick, though.

Re: 1951 GMC Truck

Thanks guy for the reply. I have found a carb for the truck. Now my problem is finding a filter for it. I purchased one from LMCTruck. It was only 20 dollars. But it is about an eighth of an inch too small. The opening on my carb is about an eighth of inch over 2 inches. The oil bath filter that came off of the zenith carb is too big. Any suggestions??

Thanks in advance,

bam
