Pics of my car... What to get next?
OK, Here are some pics of my car. What do you all think? I know it doesnt look like much, but it is a work in progress. I have DC Sports 4-2-1 Ceramics, DC Catback, Catco High Flow Cat, APC Short Ram Intake with K&N Filter, Accel Wires, the new Tail lights, Clear Fronts, and a Sound system. What would be next? I dont really want to go spend $1000.00 on wheels and tires. I would rather go preformance. I was thinking flywheel or clutch. Also was thinking about a free-flow Cat (No mesh, basically just a pipe). What should I do?
Thanks!

Here's what you do.....
first loose the tail light's. I dunno if you like'em keep'em but if you plan on going to a show of anykin I'd definitely loose'em. If you wanna get a little kick outta your accord put a h22 in it for some kind of performance edge. But you know since it is a faimly car, there's not much you can do to it. I'd go with a kit and airbags nice paint job, maybe a few conversion of the tail lights and all. Other then that just pack it fulll of show stuff.

Those tails have got to go but if you like them keepem. Just like I was told you should think about how much you wanna spend and what you want the car to do. If theres lots of miles on the car you could do a rebuild and go turbo or even just throw a 50shot or something on there,or go cams, cam gears, pulley kit ,manifold,p&p maybe etc. etc. As for the cat question just go with a test pipe and it you'll gain a bit more but my buddy has one and the exhaust is pretty loud tho thats the only real draw back he found with it,I'm thinking of trying one on my GS-R.

first get rid of the short ram, it does no good after your engine is warm.... as for the rest, cam if youre sohc, and the after that i would je a call.... youll move pretty good after that.. and get rid of those lights, but its all good if they tickle your fancy

Yeah i guess just some cars werent made for Clear tails. If it were my way all clear tails would be destroyed, but hey thats only MY opinion

saying short ram intakes are useless is the same as saying CAI are also useless. true that you gain less horsepower once the engine heats up, but you gain more low and midrange power than a CAI. now only if i can rig up some dyno sheets....
got $1000 to spend in mods? $600 for higher compression pistons, $350 for fuel injectors, $40 for iridium spark plugs, and $10 for some wax |

You asked about a high flow cat ,I decided to go with a car sound high flow cat instead of a test pipe cause they don't sound to good to loud and raspy plus you won't pass inspection anyway it sounds great no lack of performance was a great buy.
