Question 2005 WRX STI vs Lancer Evo MR

Can anyone help me determine which is the better car? I want to get one of them...
The subie's got more power and more torque, but I've heard the Evo drives better. Car and Driver chose the Evo in their comparo last year, but the Subaru guy at the car show told me the 05 STi has undergone several suspension and steering improvments since then, and the MR is a whole new car, and is a little more expensive (and what is that vortex thing on the back of the roof?)
What do you all think?

I'd say go for the STI, it has more power than an evo, the MR is a bit better performance, but it's a limited production. and the vortex thing on the back of the roof, helps produce more down force on the car at higher speeds so you "stick" to the ground better.

Mitsubishi (the company) is in serious financial trouble. It is quite possible they will go bankrupt and stop making cars. Then you will have an expensive car that you could not resell, with no dealer support and a rapidly shrinking parts market.

Go Subaru!!

STi it is the most secure choice. An extremely solid and fun car...you almost can't go wrong.
