im going to keep posting questions, i know someone will have answers sooner or later... Does anyone know if the AUX CD harness originates from the AMP in the console, or if it branches off of the main radio harness? I have seen some replacement amps for denalis and Caddy's that in their description say "w/multi changer" and "w/o multi changer". Just wondering if there is a difference in AMPs if you have an AUX multichanger. If it just branches from the stock radio harness that would be fine as i could add the pins to it if i had the PINOUT for the radio and AUX CD harnesses.

Re: 2003 Yukon Denali Navigation Radio

well, im waiting on a few things before i really start into this project...if anyone could take a look at their setup to tell me where this harness originates or a pinout of these two harnesses, that would really help.

thanks

Re: 2003 Yukon Denali Navigation Radio

okay, I got it installed and it looks like im gonna need the amp also. I have the 6 disk indash cd changer with BOSE sound system, and it still did not work. I got very soft audio and no chimes. Also, the volume button on the steering wheel did not work but the others did. I got the "theftlock" on the screen but if you just unplug it from the back while the key is in ACC it will come on. Anyone have an 03', 04' amp for sale? Anyone other than me still reading this thread? LOL

gable74...your not the last one working on this. I still havent found a Navigation Radio to install. I would buy a brand new one, if I could find a dealer that would sell one.
Does anyone know where I could find a new or used Navigation Radio?

Thanks for the link to ebay. If you or anyone else knows of a dealer that will sell a new one, then let me know. If my calculations are right, I can buy a new Radio, Antenna, and Navigational CD all for less than what they have been selling for on ebay.

but you cant get anyone to sell one new....i looked. The dealers tell you there are none to sell, and look at you like you have 3 heads. They tell you even if they had one, it wouldnt work in your vehicle....such lazy liars they can be.

Thanks, but I just purchased a new, unused one from a dealer. The Nav. Radio, Antenna, and Nav. CD's all cost $1,800. Much cheaper than buying one on ebay for $2,300-$2.400. Also, if its not a new unit, you will have to take it to a dealer to unlock the Anti-Theft....saving me another $50-$100. Find a dealer to sell you one. GMC, Hummer, and Cadillac are all the same.

Re: 2003 Yukon Denali Navigation Radio

Put it in last night. I took let than 45 min. to remove the old one and put the new one in. Since it was a new unit, I didnt have to mess with the anti-theft lock. It works perfectly! I dont think its as easy to use as one in the Acura TL, but its not bad. It would probably be nice if it had a manual. Does anyone have a part # for the Navigation Manual?

Send me your E-mail, and i will send you the manual in .PDF form. By the way, i got mine up and running as well. It was a little trickier to do it in the Silverado, but i got it!

I got everything pretty much wrapped up, all i need are a few more misc. items and im done. Here is a pic of my finished product with NAV head unit and the AUX CD changer installed in the console....all just like factory, only it wasnt an available option in the silverado...... Until now.
