05 E250 - no steering return

plain and simple, when driving complaint of oversteercondition, when making any turns or lane changes the wheel does not auto return to center, you must manually center the wheel while driving... when lifted for inspection, front end feels extremly Tight!!!! would like some input to see if i confirm my suspition...

Sounds like you have a frozen ball joint or other steering component. I would start by disconnecting the drag link from the pitman arm and raise the truck off the ground. If the steering components still feel stiff, then disconnect one of the tie rod ends to isolate the problem from side to side. Either the linkage is dry or the suspected ball joints are dry and frozen. Once you have located the faulty component, replace as necessary.
