Getting more from a 5.2 318?
Since it seems a little too involved to change over from TBI to carburetion, is there anything else that I can do to get a little better HP and performance without tearing into the motor. I don't have a LOT of money in this truck but I did paint it, new tires, rims, interior, stereo, spray-in bedliner, new battery, power steering pump, new fan and clutch, new radiator, air cleaner assembly, brakes, and A/C compressor. I just want to do a few mods to upgrade the engine. I use the truck as a daily driver and want to make it dependable as possible. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance, JT @ Yella Dog Enterprises

Dang, gimme a break here. Work has been hellish with the end of year crap.
The easiest way to get more power without going into the engine, is to open up the intake and exhaust. Any engine is at it's simplest simply an air pump, and letting it breathe will go a long way towards more power. So start with a good intake, headers, and a free flowing exhaust. That should liven things up a bit for you. And Welcome to AF.
