idle too high
My 1994 olds cutlass supreme idles high at all times. In park it sits at about 1300 rpm . any ideas why???? Or how to fix this!!!

Probly your IAC.
Heres a link that explains how to test it. IAC testing/replacement Also sometimes a good cleaning of the IAC and the port that it goes into with good TB cleaner. Try not to push the end of the IAC because it will mess up the setting, which the link explains too. hope that helps, and Welcome to AF.

Are you experiancing any other drivability issues, such as stalling when coming to a stop? Or a combination where you idle high in park but idle kinda low and rough while stopped in idle (with engine at operating temp)??

Also a large vacum leak on the intake can make the idle higher than norm.
