1993 Lexus GS300 Engine Quits When Brake Pedal Pressed

Good Morning all. I own a 1993 Lexus GS300. The car had been running great until yesterday when the engine started quitting everytime the brake pedal was pressed. Will not start without jumper cables, but once started, it idles fine and drives fine. There are no battery or alternator caution lights, but once the brake pedal is touched, it stalls. I even put the car in neutral and accelerated the engine to a steady 2000 RPM then touched the brake pedal and it immediately shut down. Is there something electronically linked between the brake pedal and the shutting down of the engine? Thanks to all in advance for whatever help you can send my way.

Does your car have a vacuum line going to the brake booster? If yes, check to make sure it is properly connected, not leaking. Look for other vacuum leaks.
