Unhappy 2.7L Intermediate shaft bearings...please help

I'm in the process of rebuilding the engine in my 86 325es bemer. The machine shop took the intermediate shaft bearings off to vat the block. Later on when I was putting it all back together I noticed that the intermediate shaft fit very loosely in its bore, that's when I realized that the bearings were removed. I'm having a hard time finding them. Has anyone gone through this before and could provide some info on how to get these special bearings? Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

you might want to check out bmpdesign.com or bavauto.com. these sites often have many bmw parts that other auto stores would not have. if they dont have them, give them a call, and they should be able to give you a bmw part number, in that case you can contact bmw and order it from your dealer. . .
