I bet there's some catch in the deal... it's too cheap for such a "showroom condition 3k miles Murci" as they state.

Re: Murcie for CHEAP!

Well, it's not one of the most expensive cars but there are several others in the same price range.

my mistake! I was looking at the current bid.. (at the time was below 170k !).. 230k indeed is a nice price for a 3k mile murci.. but only IF it really was treated right!

its kind of hard to not abuse a supercar when you know you have all that power in your hands....but 230k aint much if it wasnt abused...

I actually was visiting my grandmother (who lives in Delray Beach) about a month ago. I went with her to get her oil changed at the Toyota dealership which is 2 dealers away from Prestige Motors, the dealer selling the Murcielago. While waiting, I walked over to have a look at the exotics they had available. They had no customers at the moment, so I was able to a salesman who was having a cigarette out front. First of all, the salesman claimed that its top speed was "220mph". I bit my tongue, but even Lamborghini's optimistic claimed top speed is more than 10mph slower. Then, I began inspecting the car, as it was the centerpiece of their showroom, sitting out front with the doors open and a gigantic bow on the hood. Notice that in the ebay pics, they show a close-up of the left front brake rotor, but not the right. That is because the right front rotor is rusted, and it has stress cracks between the cross-drilled holes. In addition, the caliper looks like someone took a sledgehammer to it-it was bashed apart. The dealer wanted $239,000 for the car, which, considering the extent of the damage I saw is a rip off. Be careful buying exotics-most exotics dealers aren't trustworthy.
