1997 luminia replace fuel tank need help now
Ok the internet sometimes sucks. To many answers to a question and there all differnt, My 1997 luminia 3.6 v6 there is no question I need to replace the fuel tank. My problem is I look at the owners manual that came with the car it says the tank is 16.1 gallons. Online things say 16.6 to 17.0 I looked to order the tank and there are 2 or 3 differant ones shown ranging from 16.0 to 17 I just need to know I guess if I get a 17 gallon will it fit or not?

You have a 3.6L engine? Not a 3.1L?

I'd have said the difference is in how the capacity is measured; and maybe in the tank fittings for vents and outlets. Perhaps a Federal vs. California emissions thing. All my GM cars will accept more than their "rated" capacity. Rated capacity seems to be on the low side.

Ten trillion to start with, increasing as needed from there, PLUS compensation for the sickened, and "wrongful death" settlements for the families of those who didn't survive. END trade with Communist China. |
