Service Engine Soon
I have a '97 Eldorado ETC the service engine soon light came on . I ran the code on it PO 113 and the print out for that is ; The PCH has determined that the input from the intake air temperature sensor is higher than expected for the current engine operating conditions. What would cause this and what is the remedy ?

Re: Service Engine Soon
Check to see if the sensor is disconnected in the ducting from the air cleaner to the throttle body.

Re: Service Engine Soon
You were right on the money , it was disconnected they must have did that when I had the oil changed last.
Will the light go out on its own or will I have to have it reset? Or how do you reset it?? Thanks a bunch |

Re: Service Engine Soon
It should reset after a few drive cycles.
