Engine will not start
I have a 1978 Buick Lesabre that I recently bought with just over 30,000 miles. The car had been sitting for some time and I decided to "Clean up the engine" I used a engine degreaser the went to a self service car wash to complete the clean up. I used high pressure sop and water to clean it up. The car sarted and ran for a few miutes then stopped, The engine turns over ok, but it refuses to fire. I took off the distributer cap and took out the coil from inside and cleaned and dried them well. The engine still turns over but still will not fire. Anyone out there have another solution? Re: Engine will not start
So you checked for spark? Did you see if it was getting gas to the cylinders?
