Unhappy 325i transmission problem

I was hoping some will be able to help me. I am having a problem with my tranmission shifting. Its a 1995 325i. First it starts out OK then after a few minutes of driving the tranmission seems to start sliping. Ita's an automatic. Maybe the fluid is low? Do think I need to change the filter and fluid. The car has 148k and I don't know if it's ever been changed. The manual shift seems to work fine. I don't use it that often though. If any one knows or has any ideas please let me know.

Hi.

Jeff, did you ever find out the problem with the transmission and repair cost? Last week, my sisters 3 series, BMW transmission slips and it won't go up hills.

Re: 325i transmission problem

Hi, Jeff:
It seemed that the transmission box having some gear broken or wear out. While you are lucky, you can start. There is no other solution. Go to repair it.
