i'm in the early stages of building a Nitro Subaru WRX (trying to make a replica of my ride). i've done a few 1:18 and 1:24 models but this'll be my first attempted RC, i'm hoping it'll come out ok.

glad to see there's a forum for it

hey i don't know if you got an answer got it fixed or what not but i would say adjust the carb so that its a little more open (i.e. adjust the needle so it doesn't close so much.) if you have a controller that allows you to make adjustment like that then use it, its a lot easier

I have a HPI Nitro RS4 RTR. This thing can tear up the road. I have had it for almost a year and it is my first nitro powered RC. When I wa syounger, I used to by my RCs from Toy-R-US. But I never knew what I was missing. Since I am still new at RC racing, I have not bought any hop up parts yet. i still haven't switched the stock throttle over to its max yet. The thing is fast enough for me right now. But as i get better, I will add many hop up parts and switch the trottle over to its maximum setting. Right now and have a BMW M3 and Subaru WRX body. I use to have a Skyline R34 too, but the wing snapped off. So i just use this shell for just practicing. I might post some pics of them if i can get my hands on a digital camera.

Hey guys!! Here's a pic of my RC. Even though I haven't hooked it up yet, it is nice. It is so fast. I can catch up to any car on the street.

hey have you heard of those new things called like mini pocket racerz or something like that? I've seen 'em and i think they're totally sweet. They go pretty fast (especially becasue they're like 3 inches long) and you can buy rims and body kits and crap for them...
